Prophet Blaine Hensley Has Departed on His Final Caravan

Blaine Hensley, 91, passed away peacefully on December 26. Born May 25, 1925 in Bar Creek, Kentucky, in 1962 he moved his family to Orlando where he lived for the remainder of his life. He served as a gunners mate in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946. Blaine served as the Union Representative for Bakery & Confectionery Union and Industry. He was a dedicated life-long member of the Orange County Sportsmen’s Association and served as a member of the board for over 40 years. The clubhouse building was named in his honor. Blaine was an active Mason and Shriner as a member of Bahia Shrine Temple and Ormazd Grotto for 39 years.  Blaine was preceded in death by his first wife, Arena Faye Richardson Hensley, and son Michael Wayne Hensley. He is survived by his wife Irma A. Hensley, his son James “Jimbo”, grandsons Michael (Michelle), David (Inga), great grandchildren, Gavin, Willow, and namesake Blaine and his daughter in-law Sharon. He is also survived by his sister Rosemary (Jack) Davis. A memorial service will be held on July 9, 2017 at the Hensley family cemetery in Red Bird, KY
